Last weekend, concluded.

"Party in the streets, run in the woods" was supposed to be this weekends motto, we didn't end up in the woods, but we saw the beach....

I took Friday and Monday off work, Kristin ended up having a temp job agian to work Friday until around 4ish so that delayed our plans to leave ultra early liike we had hoped, s'ok though.

I packed my stuff Friday afternoon and went to run a few errands. Got a haircut, got a temp AAA card and bought some awesome cargo pants for $12.99 at ROSS. Traffic was shitty so around 5pm Allan starts making his way over to my house and we can jump in the party mobile, pickup Kristin and take the 170 and be on our way towards TEH BAY! We pickup everyones giant suitcases >:O and stuff them in the back of the hondah and we're off.
We get to Valencia to stop for gas and food, Chuys, mmm. We continue. The rest of the drive was easy and we made good time, we played some cd's and Allan bought tetris and started battling Kristin for bragging rights on high scores.
We arrived @ 2am and couldn't find parking for shit, I thought LA was bad, I ended up finding a metered spot and having to move my car @9am Sat. That's ok, after I moved I found a spot a few blocks away and didn't move the car for the rest of the weekend.

Sat, we all woke up, took showers and headed down to Fisherman's Wharf for some Tasty clam chowdah! See picture. after that we walked back up Mason, took a cab the rest of the way. We got back to Max's talked with hime for awhile, introduced everyone and took a picture of Kristin(his g/f taunting him with Grapes LOL) Max had to work sunday so he wasn't able to get to the parade..
So, we packed up and started walking to the Love Parade (where it ended.) We got there at 3ish and found Kyle, Aaron and his friend a little while later, we all ate, danced, drank and got lost in the crowds. I am so happy for real keys on the sidekicks caused we sent a lot of text messages. I took pics of some of the DJ's and floats. I have never seen a higher concentration of wierdos and hippies in one place. I can't imagine what it was like in the 60's. I can only quote Hunter S. Thompson.

"San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant. There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not across the Bay, then up the Golden Gate or down 101 to Los Altos or La Honda. You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning."

Saturday night was the afterparty with Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Bad Boy Bill and host of others.. it was madness I tell you! The parade party ended at 9pm and we jumped in line before it got huge, we managed to sneak cuts a along with about 50 other people across the looping line that went down the street and curved back around. We got it, found somewhere to sit, watched Carl Cox, and waited for the others. In that time we tooks pics and rested. After all, we had been on our feet the entire day... we went down into the crowd later, saw Blank and Jones, Above and Beyond and some great drum and bass in the other rooms. Ferry played and awesome set right up until 4am when we walked out, down the street to a Carls Jr. and had the worst spicy chicken sandwitch evar. We took a cab home and went to sleep.

The next day we all woke up found the car, drove down to Fisherman's Wharf, ate more different clam chowdah and continued north. We went across the Golden Gate Bridge, took pics and kept going to Stinson Beach. Kristin wanted to get creative for her website so we took some pics of her drawing stuff in the sand.Sunset was approaching so we took some pics, heading back over the mountians and took more awesome pics of the sunset.
Took the GGB back into SF, WENT DOWN THE MOST CROOKETYEST STREET!!!!!! got stuck in Traffic going to the 80, stopped for Applebee's and Gas, took Kristin home and crashed at my house about 3:30am.

I am probabably missing some details......
