I went to the 31st Annual Monterey Historic Automobile Races this past weekend. I have nothing to say but wow! This is the greatest place on earth. The weather was slighty warm on Sunday and beautiful. This year Monterey honored Ferarri and they didn't dissapoint. I "borrowed" a Canon Digital Rebel SLR for this trip and I was impressed with the camera even on auto settings. Here are a few pictures and a link to the gallery. Kours and I also took a slight detour up to Santa Cruz to check out the area. I took lots of pictures.

Here are my pictures.
I found that the Lens on this camera sometimes experiences washout and some of the motonshots are blurry because I left the camera on auto focus.

I present.

I looked at the pics. for the most part they are good. Not much you can do when you're too far away to pan with the car. If you look at some of the properties the ISO is 100. Maybe if we forced it to 200 or 300 it wouldnt need so much exposure to freeze the subject. The higher the filmspeed the less detail but the better to freeze motion because it needs less lights to get full exposure.
