Sucharee and Rudi were the party. Everyone else flaked or could not make it due to other circumstances.

Thanks for saving me guys!

Now that it's over, everyone is gone. I sit in this big empty house, alone; Thinking of what I have become.

Silence falls upon me.

In all honesty the best parties I've been to were not to be considered parties in the grand sense of what we commonly expect of the term.

They were more accurately quantified as small gatherings, but they have remained far more successful in my mind than any large parties I've attended.

I guess all my pontification comes down to is support of your original statement...

though I thought I was on track towards some deep philosophical point

(slaps forehead)
