I'm home, and a life lesson.

True, we love life, not because we are used to living, but because we are used to loving. There is always some madness in love, but there is also always some reason in madness
--Friedrich Nietzsche

That pretty much sums up what I am thinking. Things will never be the same and it's time to move on.

In other news...

Most of the hills around me are charred and blackend. They have become a barren wasteland, once inhabited by rattlesnakes, gophers, and jackrabbits. The fire has taken out homes and for the damage it caused, very few lives. This is nothing new, the hills have burned before, and they will burn agian.
